Here at Award The Web we aim to help your creativity grow and prosper using an awards system, which is contributed to by all registered users of the site. We give you and others the power to reward and be rewarded for many achievements you have accomplished in your work as an artistic individual.
This can be best answered by letting you know that everyone who creates something out of shear desire, determination, beauty, creativity and the like can truly benefit from receiving recognition for all the hard work that goes into creating something from nothing. Yes everyone of artistic nature can join and upload a copy of their work and have it rewarded by ALL of our registered users.
Due to this being a website and internet based medium for rewards we can only accept computer uploads to your user profile. This may seem unfair for some users who do not create digital/web based work but we feel you will not have a problem showing your work to the entire website of users.
You may have to upload images of your work but if done correctly and with attention to detail your creations will have just as good a chance as any illustration/website/graphic design done in computer software.
Award The Web will actively promote a sense of fun and supportive community spirit throughout the site. We want you to make new friends, group into creative teams and brainstorm in forums, inspire other users and contribute to the "bigger picture"
Have you ever seen those websites that make you pay for extra visual promotion, like a highlighted background behind your name or a "We Recommend This" beside your profile name? I know I have. This tends to frustrate me and a great many other users without the cash to throw around, so here at ATW we have given you The Eye.
No we haven't winked at you, instead we have a highlighting and promoting scheme in place that picks, at random, a user or group profile in the hope that those of our members who are finding it hard to get the views up can have any endless number of enquiries into their work. We want to stress that this is a free feature for any user who joins the website and it is completely beyond the control of our staff.
